Taking Care Of Your Bull

Upon arrival at their new home, it's essential to have a suitable group of animals in the yard to greet the bull and reduce its stress.

Ideal companions include pregnant cows or steers, but definitely not other bulls. While bulls are in good condition for joining at the point of sale, it's crucial to provide proper nutrition during the joining period. Regularly monitor the bulls to ensure they are performing well, especially in the initial stages when most issues arise.

Early intervention can help minimize harm to the bull and maintain conception rates. Once joining is complete, bulls should be drenched and placed on good pasture to regain optimal health, without becoming overfed.
